There is a funded program for research in Climate Change under the Climate Change Forum at LUMS. Among other activities, this forum sponsors research projects carried out by faculty through student researchers in areas related to climate change.
LUMS School of Science and Engineering has an endowment fund established by Mitsubishi Corporation to be used exclusively for research and curriculum development in areas of renewable energy resources and energy sustainability. Funds are available for research conducted through LUMS students and faculty.

Some other programs for faculty include the FIF grant (Faculty Initiative Fund) and FTG (Faculty Travel Grant) but it is not specifically targeted towards supporting sustainability research. Over the years, many projects/research initiatives related to sustainability have been funded through these two programs.
