The Academic Writing Lab (AWL) hires its tutors after a rigorous selection process and the selected tutors are trained intensively. It is a group of experienced and trained college writers.

This program is run by Mathematics Department to help students taking calculus courses. Informal and formal discussions, problem sessions, online resources and interactive sessions are held.

The program is organized under a full time Teaching Assistant of Mathematics Department. All other mentors are current LUMS students who have performed well in related courses and are engaged as Student TAs.
