Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Campus Thrift Store
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The Lafayette College campus thrift store serves to redistribute goods from students to students to meet the needs of individuals on campus and divert items from the landfill. In the fall of 2022 and spring of 2023 items were distributed through pop-up thrift stores monthly, distributing over 1,800 items (clothes, bedding, school supplies and more) in a pay-what-you-can model, so that students can set the price that works for their budget. Items are provided through donation from students throughout the year and during the Green Move Out process.
