Two different working groups which belonged under Committee on Environment, Safety cooperated to develop the plan.

Kyoto University has set a goal to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emission by 2% by unit area every year by promoting both of investments in energy efficient renovations and pro-environmental behaviors.

We measure every year and report environmental burdens in ''Kyoto University Environmental Report'' every year.
