This local civic-engagement partnership, launched in 2012 in cooperation with the Galesburg Community Foundation, matches recent Knox graduates and current students with local non-profit organizations to support existing projects, build new programs, and help meet the critical needs of the community. The KnoxCorps make a year-long commitment to projects that include community planning, arts engagement, a community kitchen, working with a sustainable business incubator, the local crisis center, and other local social organizations. This is an ongoing, yearly program.
