Knox College created a sustainability website in 2008 and has continuously updated it to reflect the priorities and projects of the institution.

The sustainability newsletter is a monthly report from the Office of Sustainability, updating the campus community and alumni about sustainability initiatives at Knox College.

All food coming from the Knox Farm is labeled as such in campus dining venues.
Special signage in the cafeteria and other eating venues explain the importance of reusable to-go containers; composting; and local ingredients.
Special notices about the Knox sustainable food system are periodically inserted into the napkin holders at the Gizmo Cafe.

At alumni reunions and friends&family events, walking tours of the Knox Farm and sustainability features of the school are offered. On request, this tour can be replicated. Student guides leading prospective students around the campus regularly point out sustainability features, as well.
