The following standards appear in the university's Faculty Handbook regarding interdisciplinary scholarship:

1.3 QUALIFICATIONS OF TENURE TRACK TEACHING FACULTY MEMBERS
The King's University College appoints Christians to its tenure track teaching faculty who:

1.3.5 Intend to contribute to integrated, interdisciplinary education and are able to articulate what this
means in their work.

Advancement from Assistant to Associate Professor:

1.9.5.5 A faculty member must demonstrate a commitment to and familiarity with a Christian, integrative,
interdisciplinary approach to his or her scholarship, consistent with the criteria for appointment outlined
in section 1.3.

Advancement from Associate to Full Professor:

1.9.6.5 A faculty member must demonstrate a commitment to and familiarity with a Christian, integrative,
and interdisciplinary approach to scholarship, consistent with the criteria for appointment outlined in 1.3.
