Students volunteer to help with the BFEC's field trips with children ranging from elementary to middle school. They lead children through programs that focus on their local environment and how to sustainability interact with it.

The BFEC hosts river cleanups at the Kokosing River. Students and community members volunteer to help pick up trash on the side of the river. It helps volunteers become aware of how littering directly affects the environment while simultaneously taking part in fixing the problem with those we share the resource with.

Kenyon partners with the village of Gambier and Accurate IT (R2 certified) to offer free (except TVs) electronics recycling for anyone who wishes to participate. The drop off occurs on the first Saturday of every month.
