A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :

The Office of Green Initiatives sends emails out to accepted students over the summer to introduce them to "sustainability culture" at Kenyon.
Trained Community Advisors in each Freshman Hall disseminate information about sustainability culture, resources such as Kenyon's green centers and The Kenyon Farm, composting and recycling options, and events held by groups on campus. Community Advisors also act as resources of sustainability information for all upper class students.
