All injuries and occupational exposures, regardless of severity, are required to be reported to the Environmental Health and Safety Office and Human Resources. These offices review the reports of injuries, investigate where necessary, and determine if the injury meets that State requirements through the Public Employee Risk Reduction Programs (PERRPS – Ohio, State Employee OSHA) and Worker’s Compensation. The information is required to be reported to the State of Ohio annually. The University uses standard forms and enters the information into a database program developed internally.
