A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contributed to the diversion rate for construction and demolition waste:

At this time, the majority of waste materials generated from construction and demolition on campus are not quantified. A portion of the waste materials are re-purposed on campus or re-sold through KSC’s Surplus Program; however, weights are not recorded.

Carpet that is removed from campus spaces is recycled by the flooring contractor. However, Keene State College is not provided with any measurable data to report from this vendor.

A formal Demolition Waste Policy was begun in the Summer of 2019, and is currently in progress.
