In the previous three years two new buildings have been constructed, each designed to a minimum of LEED Silver rating, which is the KSC guideline:
Living Learning Commons - (residence hall) completed in 2016; designed to Architecture 2030 standards is 85,546 sq.ft.
Cohen Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies new wing to Mason Library completed in 2020 and is 8000 sq.ft.

As part of the University of New Hampshire System, Keene State College (KSC) shares a commitment to "to achieve the equivalent of U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver for new construction and major renovations." To the extent possible, KSC follows the guidelines of the USNH flagship school, University of New Hampshire (see https://www.unh.edu/sustainability/operations/buildings). As well, USNH is part of the new construction team and references UNH guidelines.
