Institutional Research department records data on student diversity with respect to gender, race, first-generation status, and low-income/Pell grant recipient status. The data is gathered at the beginning of each semester and recorded by class level. Retention rates and graduation percentages are some of the ways the College uses this data to determine if policy changes are needed to ensure future student diversity.
