A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contributed to the diversion rate for construction and demolition waste:
Much of the items we pull from buildings during construction/demo is not quantified (furniture for example). Some of the materials are sold through our surplus program, which does not currently capture weights. Many materials are re-purposed on campus. Carpeting is aggregated with carpets from other businesses by the company we use - for which we do not have data.

Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
The LEED construction project created 154.36 tons of recycled construction and demolition materials and 46.31 tons of construction materials that were landfilled or incinerated (as reported by our contractor) from July 2011 - October 2012. This information was not available in the previous report so I included it here (even though it goes back a little further than the current fiscal year we are using in the current report).
