Staff members from the Sustainability Office give presentations to local groups, at AASHE, Smart and Sustainable Campuses, Northeast Campus Sustainability Consortium and COPLAC conferences; Northeast Resource Recovery Association conference - presentation about stakeholder involvement and composting.

Keene State College was one of the founding members of the Northeast Campus Sustainability Consortium and remains an active partner. Through work on the City of Keene Cities for Climate Protection we have worked with Clean Air-Cool Planet and with ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability and AASHE.


A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :

The Sustainability Office serves as a resource to other institutions regarding how to establish recycling programs, green bike sharing programs and sustainability in general. Individuals from other institutions contact us directly or we connect with them via green school and recycling listservs to share information and provide professional expertise in regards to campus sustainability.
