Concept Development:
Concept development was initiated with the “Charrette” and further developed by the Advisory Committee’s discussions and conclusions. Short-Term and Mid-Term concepts are illustrated as one plan, and the Long-Term Plan is illustrated as a separate plan. The Short/Mid-Term Plan identifies significant stages of development between 2004 and 2013, and the Long-Term Plan illustrates future growth beyond the year 2013. Below is
a list of Master Plan Concept Goals that have been identified by the College.
Sustainability
-Increased operational and eco-efficiency and “bottom-line.”
- Improve relations with neighbors and City.
- Stakeholder relations (students, faculty, trustees, and donors).
- Institutional ethics & commitment to stewardship practices.
- Supplement curricular resources with eco-learning labs.
