Annually KCC evaluates employee satisfaction with a third-party survey which measures among other things job satisfaction, learning and advancement opportunities, and work culture and work/life balance. KCC's Director of Human Resources and the President;'s Cabinet address issues raised by the evaluation.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):
For example in assessing "There are effective lines of communication between departments" while KCC's satisfaction is higher than the comparison colleges, the President's Cabinet made this one of its priorities to address and several strategies were used to address this perception, which has improved over the last three years.
