A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:

The Dean for Environmental and Institutional Sustainability authored a voice-over PowerPoint on the importance of Sustainability literacy and how the college students, faculty, and staff are contributing to sustainability as "a locally and regionally recognized feature of the college" (from the 2008-2013 Strategic Goals). The presentation covers student activities, courses with integrated sustainability material, and operational sustainability efforts.
