KCC's Student Ambassador program is a scholarship that is administered by the Foundation. The Coordinator of Student Life oversees the program. The students are degree seeking, the funds are applied to their student account and they are trained by the Coordinator of Student Life . The College pays for this scholarship. The institution also offers the Coordinator of Student Life ’s support to the program. KCC does not offer this scholarship for continuing education or non-credit students. The program encourages ongoing peer to peer sustainability to complete the outreach and education responsibilities that are required of Student Ambassadors.

Eight to 10 students are chosen annually through an application and interview process. Ambassadors assist with tours and events, serve on committees, and regularly support various college departments. To apply, interested students must be enrolled in at least twelve credit hours have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA
