Objective Two of Judson's Strategic Plan is: "Judson will allocate resources, analyze its processes, and plan carefully so that the University can better fulfill its mission, improve the quality of its education, and respond to future challenges and opportunities." There is a subcategory "Natural Resources" under this objective that includes goals such as seeking LEED certification and being environmentally sustainable, and stabilizing erosion along Tyler Creek.

Objective One of Judson's Strategic Plan is: "Judson University will operate with integrity to fulfill its mission using structures and processes that involve the Board of Trustees, administration, faculty, staff, and students." There is a subcategory "Diversity" under this objective that outlines specific diversity goals such as increased engagement with the Hispanic community of Elgin, a commitment to recruit diverse faculty and staff, and to increase the representation of diverse groups in senior leadership. Similarly, the University committed to foster an environment that values the discussion of difficult issues such as immigration and racial inclusion. Additionally Objective Two of the Strategic Plan regarding resources has a subcategory for "Human Resources." Recommendations in this area include regularly conducting job satisfaction surveys,improving communication with employees, and involving all employees in the strategic planning process. Objective Three of the Judson Strategic Plan is as follows: "Judson will provide evidence of student learning, teaching effectiveness, character development, and spiritual formation that demonstrates the University is fulfilling its mission." One of the recommendations under this objective is to "continue to strengthen the various learning environments, making sure to balance the needs of all students: traditional and adult, resident and commuter, graduate and undergraduate." Objective Four of the strategic plan states, "Judson University will promote a life of learning and spiritual maturation for its faculty, administrators, staff, and students by fostering and supporting inquiry, creativity, worship, holiness, Christian practice, and social responsibility in ways consistent with its mission." Goals in this area include such things as offering educational benefits to faculty and staff, enriching the lives of students through various initiatives that address all human dimensions - physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual, and increasing campus diversity and cultural awareness. Objective Five of the Strategic Plan is as follows: "Consistent with its mission, Judson University will identify its constituent stakeholders and serve them in ways both will value." The plan outlines specific goals in this area by stakeholder group, including students, employees, the Academy, the Church, the local region, the world, volunteers, and alumni.
