Does the institution use xeriscape landscaping techniques, including the selection of drought tolerant plants?:
A brief description of the program or practice:
Judson has a Beautification Committee that meets to discuss future plans involving the campus grounds. In recent years the Campus has redesigned planting areas to transition to more native plantings which are drought-tolerant.
We employ a landscape company that specializes in sustainable earthscape solutions. The landscape architect/owner is part of the Committee.
