Does the institution use timers to regulate temperatures based on occupancy hours in at least one building?:
Yes
None
A brief description of the technology used:
Judson University has timers that regulate temperatures in our LEED-Gold certified Harm A. Weber Academic Center. The timers in this building are based on occupancy temperatures, so any heating/air conditioning is greatly reduced in the evening/overnight hours when fewer people are likely to be in the building. Then, during regular occupation hours, heating/air conditioning resumes at normal levels.
