A brief description of the campaign(s):
The University hosted a recycling campaign in the Fall of 2011 to encourage students to recycle their pop cans and other recyclables. The campaign included various posters and advertising across campus to get students' attention, and the campaign consisted of measuring the recycling of the various dormitory halls and the commuter group. Prizes were then awarded to the top recycling groups.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign(s):
The University started out at a rate of 0% recycling because there were no recycling programs in place. After the recycling campaign, the recycling rate increased by 100% as students recycled 2,445 cans . Since that time, the University has also added one two-yard recycling container in 2010 and one four-yard recycling container in 2011. Students also placed 24 new recycling receptacles throughout campus in the Fall 2011 semester.
