A brief description of the assessment process and the framework, scorecard(s) and/or tool(s) used:

Starting in 2019, JCCC faculty and staff prepared and distributed a needs statement supported by faculty, staff, and students, with the goal of securing an outside consultant to conduct a diversity assessment.

Beginning in January 2020, MGT consulting conducted an assessment to determine how JCCC is currently supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and ways in which the campus could improve. Results of the assessment are linked below.

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee, made up of 60 faculty, staff, and students, has met regularly since the MGT report was complete in January 2021, to make recommendations based on the report's findings.
