Our Leed Certified buildings have preferential parking for fuel efficient vehicles and carpooling vehicles.

We have a total of 22 EV Charging ports at JCCC. We have electric charging stations that serve spaces in the lower level of the Carlsen Center West parking garage, the second floor of the GP Garage, Culinary Center and the GYM parking lot. These are available to the public, including all students, staff, and faculty at no charge.

We participate in a local, annual competition amongst Kansas City Metro area employers to log "clean commutes" that employees complete called the Clean Commute Challenge. This can be walking, biking, carpooling, public transportation, telecommuting, or even staying on site for lunch.
