How many of the institution’s research-producing divisions are covered by a published open access policy that ensures that versions of future scholarly articles by faculty and staff are deposited in a designated open access repository? (All, Some or None):
All

Which of the following best describes the open access policy? (Mandatory or Voluntary):
Voluntary (strictly opt-in)

Does the institution provide financial incentives to support faculty members with article processing and other open access publication charges?:
Yes

A brief description of the open access policy, including the date adopted, any incentives or supports provided, and the repository(ies) used:
JCCC began work with ScholarSpace in 2008. Library staff offer both financial and staffing support for faculty who wish to purchase rights to their work back from publishers and those who wish to ensure their contracts are written in such a way that they will retain rights for college publication. On a case-by-case basis, JCCC awards stipends to faculty who choose to integrate OER into their course and purchases article rights from publishers for inclusion on ScholarSpace. Staffing support is available at no cost to all employees during the publication process and includes: helping faculty coordinate with publishers to self-archive previously published works, preparing and uploading works (article processing), and working with publishers before publisher/author contracts are signed to ensure they will protect future open access.
