1st program
JAC Green Team
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
The Green Team is a group of student volunteers looking to make a difference when it comes to sustainability at the college. Volunteer activities include teaching JAC students about waste sorting at events. These events happen once every week or two weeks during the semester. Students can use these hours to contribute to requirements for the "Student Involvement Certificate" and towards the Environmental Studies Certificate. Every student who joins is required to complete a training which provides information about the code of conduct and an overview of waste sorting and our waste management system in Montreal.

The target audience for this program is all students and staff who are disposing of waste on campus at events.
