Through the Partnership for a Green City, Jefferson participates in both local and national levels to advocate public policies that support campus sustainability. In addition, KCTCS participates in the Better Buildings Challenge. KCTCS supports better energy policies at the federal level and supports the state's efforts related to high performance buildings, energy, environmental education, and recycling.
