A brief description of the plan:
Jefferson is the recipient of one Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA-21), The plans are embedded or will be embedded in the documents we are paying for with grant funds. Funding for Phase 1, and the application for Phase 2. is rooted in the priority of enhanced pedestrian and bicycle improvements. Phase 1 created a comprehensive campus plan for landscaping, which included green space, pedestrian walkways, lighting, bicycle parking, and aesthetic improvements. Phase 2 is a continuation of that plan, and will provide an overall plan for improvements in the campus perimeter design that will enhanve pedestrian and bicyclist elements.
