Jefferson supports historically underutilized businesses, minority- owned businesses, and women- owned businesses.
The overall objective of the Supplier Diversity Initiative is to ensure Kentucky Community and Technical College System meets the 2010- 2016 Strategic Plan goals to "reflect the diversity of the students and employers of our 16 colleges and the citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.” As a result, the college works with minority-based, women-owned, disadvantaged, veteran-owned, and disabled veteran-owned
businesses.
