A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
Jefferson has an air quality policy in which filters on each building, as part of a preventative maintenance schedule, are changed. In addition, the buildings are zoned. Rooms with paint, chemicals or other fumes required by programs such as woodworking, shops, cosmetology, art, etc are on separate zoned systems and have their own vent/hood systems. Individuals utilize the work order system to alert the Maintenance & Operations staff of air quality concerns. When this occurs, professional air samples are taken and analyzed.
