Moving forward, the Continuing Student Survey conducted by OIR will no longer include all class levels--only those students with 45-70 credits hours. This means that we will have to rely on the Transportation Survey conducted by the Alternative Transportation Manager. We will work with them to hopefully update the survey to include the commuting categories used in STARS as we currently are not tracking data on EV use, for example.
The decision was taken to use the CSS for student commuting data in this STARS report because there were significantly more responses to the CSS and more categories for primary commuting modes.
