Yes
A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution, including how each program addresses the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability:
International immersive experience opportunities related to sustainability occur regularly and vary each year. Multiple programs have an explicit focus on sustainability, and/or include modules dedicated to the topic. For example, immersive courses regularly offered in Costa Rica, Germany, and Tanzania by faculty members from the College of Integrated Science and Engineering explicitly focus on human-environment interactions and conceptualizations of sustainability/appropriate technology. These programs promote place-based learning to explore dimensions of rural life, impacts of major cities, varied land uses and pressures on the land, and use and potential of renewable resources, among other things.
