Vital programs and procedures are facilitated through the One Book, including emergency contact information, access codes, packing to live on campus, placement exams, etc. One page of the One Book is titled "Bleed Purple, Live Green" and details how students can get involved in JMU's culture of sustainability, from low waste practices like public transit options to green facilities on campus to academic offerings and extracurricular activities focused on sustainability and environmental stewardship.
