A brief description of the program:
The unit head and/or vice president shall make all decisions regarding the applicability of a "flexible" schedule. University management is responsible to identify positions as being designated for alternative scheduling based on the financial, physical and service needs of the unit. Unit head may allow employees to have flexible work hours provided that employees work at least 40 hours each work week. Compressed, four-day work weeks or other alternative work schedules may be implemented as long as coverage is maintained.
