Think Green It's Friday Awareness Programming

A brief description of the campaign(s):
“Think Green, It’s Friday” (TGIF) is a workshop series during the academic year open to all JMU community members. A specific audience focus is on general education students, such as those in GHTH100: Personal Wellness (General Education: Health Sciences), who need to complete "Wellness Passports". TGIF programs specifically address the campus environmental stewardship undergraduate student learning outcomes and immediate actions the students can take to support campus sustainability objectives.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign(s):
For the 2012-13 TGIF programs, a sample of over 100 participants responded to a series of questions for the purpose of internal program evaluation and improvement. One question was whether based on the TGIF program participants planned to make changes to reduce environmental impact in areas such as waste, energy, and transportation. The evaluation results are analyzed and maintained by the campus sustainability office.
