A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
Lime Bike had an active program in Tompkins County but has since left town. Ithaca College is now actively involved in conversations with the locally based Center for Community Transportation along with partners including Cornell University for a new locally grown bike share program. Note: this program is not currently active though it is fully anticipated that it will take shape in 2023.

A brief description of the car sharing program:
Yes, Ithaca College partnered with Cornell University, the City of Ithaca, the Ithaca-Tompkins County Transportation Council, and EcoVillage to develop Ithaca Carshare, a local independent carshare organization. This carsharing program has historically offered discounts to students, faculty and staff at the school. Ithaca CarShare offers 2 options for membership, a "Just-in-case" and a "It's my car" membership. One of the Ithaca Carshare fleet of more than a dozen vehicles was permanently located in a dedicated parking space on the Ithaca College campus, though do to limited use has been relocated to an area on South Hill between IC and Downtown Ithaca.

EV chargers are provided in close proximity to important areas of campus though they are limited. IC is currently engaging in an EV planning program to expand that network and associated preferential parking and as a part of that will explore expansions of parking for lower carbon emitting vehicles.

IC has two, dual unit, Level 2 stations on campus - Visitors Lot and College Circle Community Center lot. IC is further actively exploring the expansion of EV charging on campus for students, faculty, staff and visitors in addition the the Campus Fleet.

Ithaca College provides free transit service to its employees, so the incentive to live within the transit service area are substantial.
The College also owns a small handful of residential properties that it rents to College employees.
