Total energy consumption (electric and non-electric)

Total energy consumption, performance year:
239,118.23 MMBtu

Clean and renewable energy sources

Clean and renewable electricity

Clean and renewable electricity (report kilowatt-hours):
kWh MMBtu
Imported electricity from certified/verified clean and renewable sources (i.e., bundled green power purchases) 21,729,533 Kilowatt-hours 74,141.17 MMBtu
Electricity from on-site, clean and renewable sources (rights retained/retired) 0 Kilowatt-hours 0 MMBtu

A brief description of the certified/verified sources of clean and renewable electricity:
Purchased electric power is a Green-e labeled product that certifies that 100% of our electricity usage was generated from wind.

A brief description of the on-site renewable electricity generating facilities/devices:
There are no building-integrated renewable energy electricity generating systems in place at this time.

Clean and renewable thermal energy

Clean and renewable thermal energy (report MMBtu):
MMBtu
Clean and renewable stationary fuels used on-site to generate thermal energy 1,229 MMBtu
Imported steam, hot water, and/or chilled water from certified/verified clean and renewable sources 0 MMBtu

A brief description of the clean and renewable stationary fuels:
The Peggy R Williams Center features a geothermal heat pump system to meet all building heating and cooling needs. There are 36 500' deep geothermal wells near the building. Per our previous Energy Manager, in 2010-11 the PRWC geothermal system produced the equivalent of 360,000 kWh in 2010-2011 or 1,229 mmbtu.

A brief description of the certified/verified sources of clean and renewable thermal energy:
---

Unbundled renewable energy products

Unbundled renewable energy products (report kWh):
kWh MMBtu
Purchased RECs, GOs, I-RECs or equivalent unbundled renewable energy products certified by a third party 2,935,000 Kilowatt-hours 10,014.22 MMBtu

A brief description of the unbundled renewable energy products:
Transitioned our electricity supply to Green-e certified national wind in Feb 2018. Use 0.003412 MM btu / kWh as suggested by this credit.

Metrics used in scoring

Total clean and renewable energy generated or purchased:
85,384.39 MMBtu

Percentage of total energy consumption from clean and renewable sources:
35.71
