Statistics were provided by Don Austin, Office of Student Engagement, and were based on what was reported to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll in 18-19. Don admits 20,000 hours is a "highly estimated number", as there are many hours that go undocumented when completed by student clubs and organizations that are not coordinated with the OSE.
