Ithaca College is one of the original signators to the coalition, which is focused on the social, environmental, and economic justice associated with non-sustainable transportation. Through the coalition's ride-sharing portal, we helped match up occupants to those already traveling by themselves and save ~ 100,000 miles of single-occupant travel every year, just from members of the IC community. Additionally, one of the goals of the Coalition is to increase access to jobs and amenities located in the city to low-income residents throughout the County.
