A brief description of the themed housing, including name(s) and descriptions of theme(s):
The Terrace 2 building houses the Sustainably Conscious Living Community. There are ~30 students living in the building, all by choice. The students partake in sustainability activities throughout the year.
In addition, this year, the First Year Residential Experience phased in first-year halls. As part of the residential tie-in to the new Integrative Core Curriculum, all first year students must select an academic theme for their general education. One of those electable themes is "A Quest for a Sustainable Future". Students selecting that theme are assigned to a faculty/staff associate and resident assistant who work with their theme cohort of residents to program events and learning activities related to students.
