Staff in the Peggy R. Williams Center with an interest in peer-to-peer sustainability education self-identified themselves. Members of the "green team" represent most of the administrative units housed in that building.


A brief description of the formal training that the employee educators receive (1st program):

"Green Team" leaders become conversant in the tips for maintaining more sustainable practices in general as outlined in the REMP "Green Office Guide", but also in the sustainability practices unique to the Peggy R Williams Center, the College's second LEED Platinum-certified building.


A brief description of the staff and/or other financial support the institution provides to the program (1st program):

Ithaca College freely makes available the informational resources and consulting services of the Sustainability at Ithaca program, the Resource and Environmental Management Program interns, the Sustainability Programs Coordinator in Facilities, the campus Energy Manager, and the dining services sustainability interns. In addition, the Sustainability at Ithaca has provided some direct funding support for Green Team training sessions.
