All full-time employees at Ithaca College, even those contracted Sodexo dining services staff, earn at least the minimum living wage standard as determined by the Workers Center of Tompkins County. According to the May 2011 update to the Living Wage study for Tompkins County, the local living wage is $24,271.50 or $11.67/hour for full-time worker for an individual whose employer provides health insurance, which both Ithaca College and Sodexo provide to their full-time workers. The minimum for all salary bands for full-time positions are set above the local Living Wage level.
