Student sustainability research incentives
A brief description of the student sustainability research program:
Novus is an initiative of the Institute for the Future of Education that aims to strengthen the culture of evidence-based educational innovation among the professors at Tecnológico de Monterrey. To achieve this, we provide funding for the implementation of educational innovations and their impact measurement, with the goal of disseminating, transferring, and scaling successful Novus projects, as well as internationalizing them through peer-reviewed publications, conferences, and international competitions.
Faculty sustainability research incentives
A brief description of the faculty sustainability research program:
Through a joint effort by Novus and Ruta Azul, the sustainability initiative at Tecnologico de Monterrey, a new track was created for the 2023 call for proposals: "Education for Sustainable Development".
Through this collaboration, 7 projects were funded with $1.2M MXN. All participants will get mentoring and orientation for impact measurement, statistical analysis and academic writing. An academic production of at least 3 conference publications and 2 journal publications is expected from these projects.
Novus has designed an impact assessment strategy for these projects that considers both learning outcomes and impact on teaching and is complemented by measuring students' engagement towards the innovation and their sustainability index.
