A brief description of the incentive program(s):
In the Education Area of Tecnológico de Monterrey's 2025 Sustainability and Climate Change Plan, the main goal is to train leaders committed to forging a sustainable future. This Education Area designed the course “Educate to confront climate change”. This resource is part of the Continuing Education Courses in the Disciplines (Cursos de Actualización en las Disciplinas (CADI) in Spanish) which were designed to contribute to the updating knowledge of teachers in different professional specialization areas.

The main objective of the course focused on climate change is to provide the concepts, methodologies, pedagogies, and tools necessary to integrate climate change and sustainable development transversally into teaching practices and training units. The course is offered in February and August since the year 2022 and has impacted 176 teachers from the institution.

 


A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:
The course is free for any academic staff of the university. Those participants that successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of competencies or job skills.
