Guide Inclusive language:

This document defines inclusive language, outlines its purposes, describes its contexts of use, and formulates recommendations to ensure that the communicative practices of members of the community align with the institutional ideals at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Guide for the creation of accessible and inclusive content:

To contribute to the transformation of digital accessibility and communications to accommodate new realities and contexts that demand the visibility of groups historically discriminated against due to stereotypes related to gender diversity, sexual orientation, disabilities and neurodiversities, ethnic-cultural background, and age.

Guide for accessible and inclusive events:

This aims to be a starting point and reflection when designing our events, in order to include everyone, ensuring accessibility and equality in the experience of users, and thus fostering a less discriminatory and more empathetic and equal community.

Inclusion manual for trans people in the workspace:

Guide that, since that date, has helped companies identify areas of work and opportunity to implement the guidelines and policies necessary for the inclusion of transgender individuals and for their correct and adequate implementation in the daily operations of workplaces.

A brief description of the most recent assessment findings and how the results are used in shaping policy, programs, and initiatives:

Some highlights are: Tec de Monterrey has 38 student groups focused on socioeconomical diversity and social inclusion topics; more than 40,000 people are benefited by voluntary work performed by the Tec community; in terms of socioeconomical inclusion, over 1,500 students have been given a 100% scholarship program called "Leaders of Tomorrow", which is directed to university studies of young people with the potential to positively impact Mexico, but who cannot afford tuition due to the socioeconomic context they come from. Furthermore, the "Safe campus Alliance for the prevention of gender-based violence" was signed with UN Women, the 1st training for Administrative Personnel (PA) of Tecmilenio at the national level was conducted, and the Strategic Project for 2025 has transitioned into a functional priority project: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. These results are shaping the way to enhance the seven initiatives that compose the 2025 Aspiration of Diversity and Inclusion: Foundations of Inclusion, Representativeness and belonging, Leadership and development, Attention to and prevention of discrimination and violence, Community recognition, Accreditation and linkage, Inspiration for other organizations.
