Iowa State’s Student Government encourages students to make a sustainable impact with their time at Iowa State. Applicants must represent a recognized student organization.

A brief description of the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:

Applications are reviewed by the Sustainability Committee of Student Government and circulated among campus units (including but not limited to grounds, utilities, dining, sustainability, etc.) for input and discussion. If the application is approved by the Sustainability Committee and any relevant campus units, it is then approved by the Finance Committee.
