A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:

A three-part process was conducted to ensure accurate inclusion:
1. In conjunction with the Office of Sustainability, The Senior Vice President for Research developed a survey to gather inventory information that was emailed out to all campus researchers.
2. A separate email was sent to all department chairs for confirmation of inclusion of past identified sustainability researchers, as well as suggestions on addition of researchers recently joining the University.
3. Individual outreach to department chairs and researchers for final confirmation and inclusion was completed through email and phone conversations.
