A list of new construction and major renovation projects that indicates the green building code, policy/guideline, or rating system that applies to each building:
- Building 14: Followed the national standards for newly constructed spaces. The project features efficient HVAC systems that allows a more precise metering and operation programming and water saving equipments in WCs and showers. programming.
- New Residences Hall: This project promotes energy saving initiatives by using high efficiency glazzing in all the facades. Moreover, the project used an Energy Modelation in order to identify desing improvments and adjustments for the contruction project . Furthermore, the project features efficient HVAC systems that allows a more precise metering and operation programming and water saving equipments in WCs and showers.
- Cultural Corridor: This project is transforming the institution's approach towards green areas. The project was build in a previous parking lot, promoting the use of alternative transportation methods, giving the students better ways to move around campus. Moreover, the project followed an estrict native plants and trees landscaping project, promoting less water consumption for irrigation.
