Part 1. Greenhouse gas emissions inventory
A copy of the most recent GHG emissions inventory:
A brief description of the methodology and/or tool used to complete the GHG emissions inventory:
Our National Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Report , which is published annually, strictly adheres to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) and the Annual Operation Certificate (COA) required by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources in Mexico(SEMARNAT).
Has the GHG emissions inventory been validated internally by personnel who are independent of the GHG accounting and reporting process and/or verified by an independent, external third party?:
A brief description of the GHG inventory verification process:
For our Annual GHG Emissions Report verification processes for our University we asked the help of Dr. Ana Yael Vanoye. Dr. Vanoye is a Professor and Associate Researcher at Tecnologico de Monterrey and has more than 15+ years experience creating, analizing and presenting sustainability KPIs for diverse institutions, governments and universities. Every year Dr. Vanoye helps us validating and analizing the generated data alongside opportunities and strenghts in our repport.
Documentation to support the GHG inventory verification process:

Total Scope 3 GHG emissions, performance year:
A brief description of how the institution accounted for its Scope 3 emissions:
In 2023 we completed our first national Scope 3 Emissions Screening following the GHG Protocol. However, being a nationwide effort the figures reported above cover all operations from all the Campuses at Tec de Monterrey. We calculate only business travel category per campus. At this time we do not have a full Scope 3 Emissions screening per Campus.
